Using the Contract
A framework you can trust — and tailor.
Shipyards in the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group are a select group that follow a strict Code of Practice and use a specialised contract to bring peace of mind to the customer.
The main part of the contract is secured — please do not amend it, so we can maintain its integrity and avoid multiple versions in circulation.
Place any yard-specific variations in the newly worded Schedule 1. Some may be permanent changes for your yard, others specific to the current contract. The Schedules are not secured and are open to amendment — or deletion — to meet your specific requirements.
Code of Practice
Certainty, performance and confidence — by commitment.
All yard members of the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group conform to a unique Code of Practice that brings certainty to your refit and eases the owner’s concerns on how their yacht’s refit will be managed and the quality that will be achieved.
The Code sets out the values and practices of the group. Certain client issues are mandatory:
- Insurance
- Warranty
- Transparency
- Environmental practices
- Customer satisfaction
- €10 million liability
